Master Bathroom and the process of filling holes in walls

This house had seen a lot of abuse and not just to the door jams and trim. My goal was to bring it back to its original state and then redesign the look. We washed the walls with TSP to get all of the oils and food and such off of the wall. Then we used plaster to fill the holes and then after the plaster had dried we sanded them until smooth. Once the walls were sanded then we painted a layer of flat paint over the repaired portion of the wall. After the paint had dried.. it was finally ready to be painted. Here are some before and after pictures of what a huge difference just a little bit of paint can do. Notice that we painted the cabinets black after priming them with gray. We also installed new flooring.
